Lawn care calculators
The arithmetic between a label and a lawn. Each one asks for the numbers only you have, your area and what your gear actually does, and none of them invents a rate.
How much do I put on?
Application rate calculator
How much fertiliser or spray your lawn needs from the rate on the label, plus the water and tank loads for a sprayer.
How long do I water for?
Watering calculator
How long to run the sprinkler for a given depth, worked out from what your own sprinkler actually delivers.
How much sand do I order?
Topdressing calculator
Sand or mix by the cubic metre, the tonne and the bag, from the area and the depth you are spreading.
How much seed do I buy?
Grass seed calculator
Seed for an area at the rate on the bag, how many bags that is, and what one bag covers.
Why these ask so many questions
Most lawn calculators answer with a number they made up: a sowing rate, a watering depth, a tonne of sand. Those numbers belong to a bag, a sprinkler or a supplier, not to a web page, and a confident wrong answer costs more than no answer.
So these ask. The rate comes off your label, the sprinkler output comes from tins you put on your own lawn, and the density comes from whoever is selling you the sand. What is left is arithmetic, which a page can do properly, including the part people get wrong: the last tank load, the part bag, the litres behind a millimetre.
